Gold Coast Mini Break

Well......... just while having a couple of Cosmo's I thought I would just jot down my days in Surfers Paradise the last 2 days.........

Stayed at the Holiday Inn....... in Surfers Paradise...... 17th floor......eeeeeekkkkkkkkkk....... was just a bit freaked out..... the balcony's were soooo small.

What can I say.... Had a great time celebrity spotting....... I was there of course!!!!!

Huge Jackman was there as well..... we exchanged glances in the lift. I would have liked to just lift his shirt...... and lick him all over....... oh well..... in my wet dreams.................

Ran into Warrick Capper a couple of times on the streets..... but just decided to just leave him there...... poor luv..............

Did just a weeeeeeeee bit of shopping...... even bought a pair of thongs..... mmmmmm nocie.

Saw soooooooooooooooooo many near naked men, it was just was tooooooooooo much for Miss Abby.

And that was just day 1.

I just can't wait to go back and visit again.

Helpful Hints from the Domestic Goddess of Morningside


Hello dear readers, I received an SMS today for Doris of Greenslopes, Doris is wondering how I keep my cutting boards in such good condition, free of stains and stuff. I could here her screaming in horror “OMG what am I to do about my chopping boards, I know…. I’ll ask the Domestic Goddess of Morningside”.

Well Doris of Greenslopes here is my helpful little hint:

Throw away the fucking chopping board and buy a new one.

No…..seriously……

Try some Bicarb of Soda…..give it a good rub or scrub and rinse……I do love a good rub myself……
Also try some lemon juice.

You also can leave your chopping board out in the sun for the day; some of those nasty stains should be gone by the afternoon.

So Doris of Greenslopes, I hope these little hints will help.

Lets start from October 2005

Ok, I have retrieved information from my memory banks. So let get moving.....
Went to the CD launch for Anal Traffic @ OMO - a night of fun and frivolity was had by all.
Celebrated my birthday (Oct 13). Had birthday drinks with work colleagues on the Thursday night (didn't get too trashed).
Saturday afternoon had a small gathering of friends around home for drinks and nibbles (was trashed by 10ish). Headed out clubbing at some ungodly hour. So you can well imagine Miss Abby had a very sore head the following day. Can't imagine what this years birthday will be like, after all I will be reaching a milestone when it comes to birthdays.........
"How old is she" I hear you mutter amongst yourselves.....Well I'm not telling !!!!!

The rest of October was pretty quiet.

Well boy's and girl's, let me tell you Melissa is a live and kicking.

Launching her new single "glamorous Life" last week end in Brisbane.

I caught Mel's act at the Wickham Hotel, in Fortitude Valley. She looks FAB!!!! Loved the revamp of "Sexy Is The Word". Great night was had by all.

Later that night or maybe it was very early on Sunday morning saw Miss A on her hands and knees........Scouring her CD collection for a copy of Melissa's first album "fresh".

I just love it.

So boy's and girl's if you want to recapture the moment of " what was I doing then" while hearing Sexy Is The Word or Read My Lips, well I can get you a copy.

Sadly no copies are available in any record stores in Brisbane.

Such a shame.............

The other Saturday evening I went to a small, but glamorous and exciting gathering to see my friend Brett on his merry way to Sydney.
Well what can I say about that night...........
The booze and conversation flowed freely. Miss Abby spied a tall blond curly haired fellow standing in the corner. "mmmmm nice, cute" I said to myself. Started chatting.....So we spent a couple of hours in idle conversation, drinking, chatting etc......So towards the end of the night saw Miss Abby and curly haired blond fellow snogging in the corner for and hour or so........
I'm still waiting for your call. I know you will be reading this.
So I'm still waiting after a month........His loss.

Miss PK Delight's Birthday

Well it was little Miss PK's birthday on the 24th August. She is now 8 years old. I popped down to the butcher and bought her a big lamb shank for a treat and also bought a mini Pav at Wollies for me as well (I did share some with PK , after all I am watching my figure).

Had a little trip down memory lane as well and dragged out her baby photo's, god she was sooo tiny when I got her (as you can see) and look at her now. She has grown up over the years. She such a spoilt girl.

So we had a nice little birthday evening together...........
